NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOSTEL FOR KURSEONG COLLEGE VERY SHORTLY

Webdesk, TNI Kurseong, 26th March, 2014: Kurseong college is going to get a newly constructed hostel building shortly. According to the authority sources, the hostel may be functional from this session onwards if everything falls into place. According to the Kurseong College principal Dr. Prabhat Pradhan, there is some works related to electricity wiring and some finishing in the staircases of the hostel. It is to be noted that the construction has started way back in 2009 under the XI th Five Year Plan of UGC. The Principal also informed that the college currently has students from the hills as well as from neighboring countries like Nepal, Bhutan and also Sikkim. The number is around 1200. When the hostel becomes functional, it will be of great benefit for these students.
